Small Vase #1
Already sold – if you would like something similar, give me a shout and I’ll get busy!
This little vase sits somewhere between a bud vase and a proper flower vase. It is hand thrown in buff stoneware clay, and part glazed with glossy blue mist glaze. This glaze flows a bit in the heat of the kiln and if you look closely, you’ll see the pool of glaze where the glaze stops at the bare clay. You’ll also see a light tan line part way down the pot where a 2nd layer of glaze flowed down. The vase is completely glazed inside as well so it is completely waterproof and won’t damage your table. Great for a small bunch of flowers trimmed to short stems.
It’s also sold, but keep looking around – there’s another similar one coming out of the kiln soon.
