Handmade (everyhting!)
From mud to the final piece, mine are the only hands that touch the piece. In fact all of my glazes and the clay I use have been specifically developed and made by me from scratch using both commercial and local ‘wild’ ingredients in my tiny, cluttered garage studio here on the Wirral in the Northwest of England!
About me Shop nowOne off pieces
Most of my pieces are unique. I love to be creative, so I’m at my best when I’m trying something new. That’s why most of the pieces on the site are individual and once they are sold, they’re gone.
Local Ingredients
Most of the clay I now use contains a proportion of local Wirral clay. I’ve developed a mix of commercial and ‘wild’ clay, and some of my glazes use foraged mussel shells from West Kirby beaches. Made on the Wirral and OF the Wirral!
Small footprints
From running my electric kiln off of solar panels, to minimising my use of plastics and using recyclable packaging materials, I’m doing what I can to care for our environment!
